Currently we do not support user level premissons on the bcm database. We
have a very light weight premission policy, if you have access to the
database you can do most things with it. There isn't a GPO that will effect
this as it's at the database level not the domain level.

We hire new sales people that we do not trust immediately. Often they don't
work out and leave soon. We don't want them to be able to take an "Offline"
copy of our shared BCM db with them, and we initally want to restrict them
to working on just a subset (their leads) of our shared BCM db. I have seen
some posts indicating that BCM 2007 cannot enforce restrictions like this,
but would like to hear from someone on the MS team if it is true or not (or
planned for the future)?
1. Can BCM wth a shared db on SBS server prevent a user from using the
"Offline" db feature? (Maybe there is a GPO setting for this?)
2. Is there a way to limit which contacts each BCM user of a shared db can
see and update?
Thank you
